A Message from the National President

Dear Navy Leaguer,
As many of you are aware, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced many events around the country to cancel or be postponed as the public continues to follow stay-at-home orders and states’ mandates to limit public gatherings. Unfortunately, our National Convention, originally scheduled for June in Arizona, will not take place as originally planned due to safety concerns. Your volunteer leadership and national headquarters staff are working together to reschedule this event until late October or early November of 2020. This event will be coupled with our fall board meeting into one meeting, which we plan to hold in Arizona. We know many of you have been wondering about the state of our National Convention, and we regret we couldn’t provide this news sooner; however, contractual issues with our original hotel prevented us from discussing our decision to formally postpone until now. We are diligently working to find a new location for the convention, and we will let you know all the details as soon as possible. Thank you for your continued support of this organization through this challenging time, and we look forward to seeing you in person this fall.

With regard,
Bill Stevenson
National President
